See what’s new in AutoCAD 2009…

It looks like there are a lot of great new features. I am especially excited about the new Action Recorder - probably because I’m so lazy. According to Autodesk’s website, “the new action recorder saves time and increases productivity by automating repetitive tasks without requiring the skill or assistance of a professional CAD manager. Users can quickly record a task, add text messages and requests for input, then quickly select and play back recorded files.” It sounds like a simple way to create macros, similar to tools found in Photoshop. I get excited about any tool that helps me automate tedious tasks.

I hope to start playing with AutoCAD 2009 soon.
