Table Wrapping - Part 2
Earlier I wrote about table wrapping but I have a few more tips and tricks to add.
Click on the “up” arrow grip located on the bottom-center of the table and drag to make the table break.
Table break on the right side:
With the table selected, right-click, and select “Properties…” (or type PROPERTIES on the command line). In the properties box under the Table Breaks section, you can change the direction the table breaks.
Select “Down”:

Normally the table breaks do not move independently. But if you want to move them, you can select “Yes” in the Manual Positions field of the table properties box.
The result will enable you to move the “broken” part of the table independently of the parent.
You can also repeat the top labels such as the title and header cells on the broken table elements.

If you set the Manual Heights to “Yes”, the table breaks can vary…

I’m glad Autodesk made tables very flexible. Soon I will write about an easy way to add vertical text to table cells.
