Need More Screen “Real Estate”?
When using AutoCAD and vertical products such as Civil 3D, Map 3D, etc. screen space can get taken up pretty quickly with properties, sheet set manager, external references, and tool palettes - not to mention all your favorite toolbars.
If you’re like me, you need to see those tools quickly and you don’t want to close and re-open them all the time. Yes there are ways of making those windows disappear such as docking & collapsing. You can switch workspaces. You can get dual monitors and drag all those extra toolbars and palettes onto their own screen. But all that takes time to setup. Don’t get me wrong, taking time to setup your AutoCAD environment is very important, but sometimes you just need to clear all the extra stuff off your screen to get a better picture of what you’re working on quickly by holding down CTRL and pressing 0 (zero). Do it again and everything comes back.

Thanks for the tip. I will use it often. Read Ya Later -KLYPH
