Lazy Command: COPYTOLAYER

The COPYTOLAYER command introduced in AutoCAD 2007 copies entities to a different layer. When you use this command it prompts you to select objects. When you have selected objects hit enter and it will prompt you to select an object on the destination layer or type N to type in the layer name manually.

    Thanks for pointing out the new command which I missed. I copy to layers all of the time and it is a several step process that is now reduced to a single command. Read Ya Later -KLYPH
