Download a Northing & Easting Dynamic Block With Fields

One of my most popular posts has been Create a Northing & Easting Block With Fields and a commenter requested that I post how to create the dynamic block version of the Northing-Easting block.

I don’t have time to post a full tutorial right now, but I will do something just as good. I will give you a dynamic block to download. Feel free to play with it, modify it, destroy it, and use it however you like.

Here it is: SV-NorthingEasting.dwg (100 kb)

You will notice that there is a grip to move the label text and another to show/hide the leader.

Let me know if you have any ideas for improving it.

    Just starting the business so my website not complete.

    ~I wanted to know if you knew how to convert the units of this block to decimal footage? Is there a way to modify cad or to set a scale factor?

    I was able to do this block on my own however i sometimes have to design on a 1:1 scale where 1′ equals 12″.

    Thats greate but i think you need add to this block BASE POINT to esy move on layout!
