Create a Custom Toolbar in AutoCAD

Did you know you can create your own toolbars with buttons that can run your own AutoCAD commands? You can, and it’s not very hard.

In this tutorial Ellen explains the steps for creating a new toolbar using the Customize User Interface dialog box. I use this method to create toolbars that contain custom macros.

Creating custom toolbars and macros can save you a lot of time, especially for repetitive tasks.  Find out how to create your own AutoCAD commands (actually this article is about creating a series of commands in buttons called macros).
